This report summarizes a National Institute on Aging and American Geriatrics Society-sponsored conference on resilience in aging, highlighting how physical, cognitive, and psychosocial resilience are interconnected and variably defined across disciplines. Despite differences in frameworks, participants identified shared core elements of resilience and called for longitudinal, translational, and equity-focused research to better understand how older adults respond to stressors and how resilience can be strengthened across the life course.
