AGS Releases New Maintenance of Certification Module for ABIM Diplomates
The American Geriatrics Society has just released its new Maintenance of Certification Module: Dementia, Delirium and Depression. This online module includes 30 case-based questions, each with supporting rationales and references. Upon successful completion of the module, participants can earn 10 Self-Evaluation of Medical Knowledge points* and 2 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™
AGS Publishes Updated Feeding Tubes Position Statement
The AGS released an updated position statement on the use of feeding tubes in patients with advanced dementia. The statement was last updated by the AGS Ethics Committee and approved by the AGS Clinical Practice & Models of Care Committee in May 2013.
