AGS Releases Patient Safety MOC Module for ABIM Diplomates
The American Geriatrics Society has just released their latest medical knowledge module for internal medicine physicians participating in Maintenance of Certification through the American Board of Internal Medicine. The Patient Safety online module includes 24 case-based questions, each with supporting rationales and references. Upon successful completion of the module, participants can earn 8 Self-Evaluation of Medical Knowledge points.

A recording of the AGS-sponsored webinar on CPT codes presented by Peter Hollmann, MD, FACP, and Denise Merlino, CPC, MBA, CNMT, is now available. The webinar highlights several significant coding and payment changes of importance to geriatrics, as well as new codes for Chronic Care Management and Advance Care Planning.
