DESCRIPTION

Geared toward early career investigators, this workshop (held on October 15, 2020) featured talks from NIA leaders who provided an overview of the NIA and an introduction to the NIH grant process. Topics were focused specifically for those applying for a GEMSSTAR Award, but relevant to all early career investigators who are applying for funding including: grant-writing, the review process, resubmissions and professional/career development plans. (The second workshop in the series was held in June 2021.)
