DESCRIPTION

This session, Vaccination in Older Adults, was presented at the 2022 AGS Annual Scientific Meeting. It is focused on vaccinations among older adults and included presentations on the current state of vaccinations, roadblocks to increasing vaccinations, and the opportunity geriatrics health professionals have to improve immunization rates. This session was an introduction to the AGS initiative, Specialty Societies Advancing Adult Immunization, focused on increasing adult immunization in the United States. Funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), this initiative is led by the Council of Medical Specialty Societies.
