DESCRIPTION

The Geriatrics Virtual Patient Case (VPC) Modules for Surgical and Related Medical Sub-Specialties are available on the AMA Ed Hub^TM . These free CME cases (10 in total) are focused on the geriatrics' aspects of surgical and related medical subspecialty care of older adults. The modules were developed in collaboration with the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) and funded by The John A. Hartford Foundation.

The cases use multimedia and realistically presented clinical tasks to pose key challenges in caring for older patients, providing feedback and education applicable across specialties in the delivery of high-quality care to older adults and CME.
