Caring for a growing population of older adults requires every medical specialty to have the knowledge and skills to address the unique challenges of aging. This article examines how the Geriatrics Education for Specialty Residents (GSR) Program has expanded geriatric education by supporting specialty educators, developing innovative training resources, and advancing research in the care of older adults.
